Embodied Wisdom
A little perspective changes everything.

The Conversation Continues
There’s a particular pleasure in reading something that makes you reconsider an idea you’ve held for years.
Perhaps it confirms a suspicion. Perhaps it introduces an entirely different perspective. Occasionally it makes you wonder how you managed to overlook something so obvious.
Embodied Wisdom is Leigh’s ongoing collection of essays and observations about the curious business of being alive.
The subjects range across identity, relationships, ambition, perspective, meaning, and the often contradictory ways humans experience the world.
Some pieces are thoughtful. Others are irreverent. A few may be inconvenient to conventional wisdom.
That’s part of the appeal.
There’s always another question worth considering.
Some of the most interesting things in life happen when you’re not looking for them.
An unexpected conversation.
A thought that won’t leave you alone.
A moment that changes the way you see something you’ve looked at a thousand times.
Not every revelation arrives with fireworks.
Sometimes it shows up while you’re making coffee.
Sometimes it takes years to recognize.
And sometimes all it takes is someone asking a question you hadn’t thought to ask yourself.
That’s the spirit of Embodied Wisdom.
A collection of observations, questions, stories, and perspectives on the experience of being alive.
Each month, Leigh explores something different.
The things we value. The ways we connect. The choices we make. The beliefs we carry.
The strange, beautiful, occasionally absurd experience of being human.
Some stories might make you laugh.
Some might make you uncomfortable.
Some might follow you around for a few days.
And some might simply put words to something you’ve always felt but never quite articulated.
There is no curriculum to follow.
No lesson to complete.
No requirement to agree.
Just a standing invitation to see something differently.
After all, a little perspective changes everything.
A good conversation has a way of continuing long after the first exchange.
